“Jigra”: Vasan Bala’s Film Showcases Alia Bhatt’s Battle for Her Brother’s Safety

Alia Bhatt and director Vasan Bala are joining forces for the first time in their upcoming movie, “Jigra.” In this film, Alia is not only the main star but also a co-producer, partnering with Dharma Productions for the project. She recently released a teaser video that provides a sneak peek into the film’s storyline.

In the teaser, Alia Bhatt provided a voiceover that focused on the theme of safeguarding one’s siblings. Moreover, it introduced an animated representation of the actress, standing steadfast in the rain, generating curiosity about the movie’s plot. She can be heard saying,  “Dekh mujhe. Meri rakhi pehenta haina tu? Tu mere protection mei hai. Tujhe main kuch bhi hone nahi dungi. Kabhi bhi (Look at me. You wear my rakhi right? You are under my protection. I won’t let anything happen to you. Ever).”

The movie will be released in 2024.
