Vishal Bharadwaj shares insights composing his cherished song for Tabu’s role in the secretive thriller “Khufiya.”

Filmmaker and music composer Vishal Bhardwaj, gearing up for the release of the espionage thriller ‘Khufiya,’ has offered insights into the film’s music while also revealing his cherished melody. Directed by Vishal himself, ‘Khufiya’ boasts an ensemble cast including Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Azmeri Haque Badhon. The movie draws inspiration from real events and is adapted from the book ‘Escape to Nowhere,’ authored by the former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan.

Vishal, who recently collaborated with Rekha Bhardwaj during the album launch of ‘Khufiya,’ delved into the film’s musical rhythms and cadence. He said: “The process of creating music for a film is usually so organic and mixed up that it’s very difficult for me to bifurcate it. In the case of ‘Khufiya,’ there is a theme in the film, a whistle which is my favourite melody.“

“Khufiya” includes a collection of nine songs, featuring the singing talents of Rekha Bhardwaj, Arijit Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Jyoti Nooran, and Rahul Ram. The thriller movie that showcases love, loyalty, revenge, and betrayal is set to premiere on Netflix starting from October 5th.
