Vikrant Massey will play the lead in the remake of ‘Maanagaram’ directed by Santosh Sivan’s

Recent reports say that Vikrant Massey is all set to play the lead role in the upcoming directorial of Santosh Sivan. The movie is said to be a remake of ‘Maanagaram’. The Chhapaak actor has been garnering heaps of praise for his latest release, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare. He also enjoys a huge fan following on social media.

The Tamil action-thriller Maanagaram was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The Hindi remake will be directed Santosh Sivan. Along with Vikrant, the film will also star Sanjay Mishra in a vital role. The shooting of the movie will start in January next. However, the major film will be shot at night. The producer of the movie confirms that the remake will be more detailed than the Tamil original and Massey will play the role of angry young man, something different than what he has done so far.
