Vidya To Provide PPE Kits

Mission Mangal fame Vidya Balan recently came forward for good cause.

Recently actress came forward and disclosed that she has pledged, she is going to donate 1000 PPE kits to frontline health workers for fighting ongoing corona threat.

For confirming news she took social platform instagram and wrote Namaste, it is critical that we provide PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) kits to our healthcare workers for their protection in this #WarAgainstCovid19. I am donating 1000 PPE kits for our medical staff and have partnered with Tring to raise donation for another 1000 PPE kits which are in immediate need across India for our doctors and medical staff. Actress not only pledged to donate 1000 PPE kits, she also joined celebrity shout-out platform Tring to raise money for additional 1000 PPE kits.

Actress said PPE kits cost around Rs 650/- including tax and deliver cost. Kit contains one coverall laminated and waterproof, nitrile gloves, goggles, face shields, 3-ply surgical mask and shoe covers.

According to sources her team members, actress has collaborated with Tring to providing additional 1000 PPE kits, in collaboration with Manish Mundra of Drishyam Films and photographer-producer Atul Kasbekar.

According to sources actress will personally thanks each donor who will make donation through Tring, for the same she will be sending thank you video message, on the other hand she will intrect with donor for at least two-minute on video call.

According to sources actress has managed to rase around 2500 kits through her on going camping.
