Vidya To Portray Geeta Bali

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is all set portray young character of Bollywood legendry actress Geeta Bali in her upcoming Marathi debut flick “Ekk Albela.

From the very first day news of Vidya playing character of Geeta Bali came into light her fans and viewers are unstoppable talking about it as how striking similarity between both the actresses will showcase on screen.

According to reports it take lots of efforts to transform similarity to portray character of Geeeta Bali. While interacting with media her dress designer Subarna Rai Chaudhary, who before worked with Vidya in “Parineeti” said I was well aware that color like pista green and maroon will help her portraying right character, as we did not wanted anything artificial, we wanted to stay spot on to theme and the period, therefore sari was draped in such a way, the skirts were high waist concluding blouse with cowl neck.

Going through image Vidya is looking somehow alike Geeta Bali. Well we hope Vidya will give full justice to her character in “Ekk Albela and earn more stardom.
