The truth behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s death remains unknown. His depression issue was always denied by his family. Moreover, they said that even if SSR was depressed, the they were never informed by Rhea Chakraborty. But she stated that she had told the Sushant’s family about his condition.

But on accessing the family’s initial statement, late actor’s family had talked about being aware of his mental health issues, and that they knew about it since 2013. On June 16th SSR’s sister had stated to the Mumbai Police that he had sought psychiatric help in 2013 from a doctor in Andheri. She said, “In 2013, my brother Sushant Singh Rajput told me and other sisters that he was feeling very low. He used to come out of this once we all convinced him. In 2013, he consulted a psychiatrist in Andheri. After that, he became composed and his career was progressing well. He had attained huge success in very little time.”

In her statement she had also mentioned that Sushant was deeply affected when their mother died in 2002. Neetu had also talked about the late actor’s mental health in October 2019, October. To which the actor responded that he was feeling ‘very low’ due to professional ups and downs.

In another statement, she revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput was taking help from a doctor in Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. SSR again told his sister that he was feeling low and therefore she had gone to stay with him for a few days and she left his home on the 12th and two days later he died of alleged suicide. However Neetu also stated that she has no idea if her brother “committed suicide due to business or some other reason”. Even their sister Priyanka told the same details to the Mumbaii police on June 16.

Priyanka’s husband, Siddharth Tanwar had also talked about SSR’s mental health in his statement to the Mumbai Police. His father KK Singh stated that on June 7th he asked SSR to come to Patna to which the actor replied, “Let me see, I am not feeling well.” Singh also told the cops that he had no idea why his son ‘committed suicide’ and he never discussed any depression or tension with him.

But when Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh was asked about these statements, he said, “I am not aware of this, so I cannot comment. In any case, I do not want to comment on police investigations.”
