Supreme Court Dismisses Plea Against Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat Renovation

The Supreme Court of India has brought major relief to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan by dismissing a petition filed against the alleged illegal construction at his iconic residence, Mannat. The plea had claimed that the actor’s renovation work at his home in Mumbai violated coastal regulation zone norms and other municipal guidelines.

A bench led by the Chief Justice of India examined the matter and found no merit in the arguments presented by the petitioner. The court observed that the allegations were baseless and did not warrant any judicial interference. Consequently, the plea, which had previously been dismissed by the Bombay High Court, was rejected by the top court as well.

This decision puts an end to a long-standing legal dispute that had been shadowing the actor’s property. For Shah Rukh Khan and his family, this is a significant victory, as it clears the air regarding the legality of the alterations made to their famous sea-facing bungalow. The actor’s legal team maintained throughout the proceedings that all necessary approvals were obtained from the local municipal authorities before any construction work began. With this final ruling, the matter is now officially closed.
