Sidhant Gupta to Join Aamir Khan in New Sports Drama

Actor Sidhant Gupta, who won hearts with his stellar performance in the web series Jubilee, is making major headlines. According to recent reports, he is set to star alongside Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan in the upcoming period sports drama titled Lalkaara, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.

​The project originally cast Farhan Akhtar in the role, but he reportedly stepped away due to scheduling conflicts with an upcoming biopic on legendary composer R.D. Burman. Stepping in as his replacement, Sidhant will reportedly portray one of the close friends and associates of Aamir Khan’s character in the film.

​Lalkaara is expected to delve into cricket history, focusing on legendary figures like Lala Amarnath, and marks a massive career milestone for Sidhant as he shares screen space with Aamir. Principal photography for the ambitious film is slated to begin on October 1 in Mumbai. Fans are already excited to see this fresh casting combination light up the big screen.
