His web show Tandav released on Amazon Prime Video was also appreciated. Well now, he is gearing up for his next film starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead. According to latest reports, the filmmaker has found its leading lady.

It is none other than Dum Laga Ke Haisha!! actress Bhumi Pednekar, who will be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor. A source even tells, “Bhumi could be finalised soon. The makers are keen on casting her because she hasn’t worked with Shahid before, so their pairing will definitely be a fresh casting coup.” Now that’s true, Bhumi and Shahid will definitely add a different flavor to it and create magic on screen. Further reports also suggest that the film is going to be a remake of a foreign film and falls under the thriller genre. 

Now that both the actors have wrapped up their shooting for their previous projects, an official announcement of when the film will go on floors is awaited.
