Richa Chaddha Starrer “Tamanchey” In Legal Trouble

Richa Chaddha starrer “Tamanchey” is in legal trouble due to copyright problem, according to reports Shemaroo has served legal notice to “Tamanchey” maker for song coped from movie “Mahan”.

One can witness official trailer of “Tamanchey” featuring song “Pyaar mein dil pe maar de goli, which is originally from Amitabh starrer 1980’s flick ”Mahan” . According to sources “Tamanchey” maker has not taken copyright of this song.

Shermaroo spokesperson Ketan Maru added we were shocked to see “Pyaar mein dil pe maar de goli’ being played in the background of “Tamanchey” trailer, being IPR holder of this song “Tamanchay” maker would have contacted us for taking permission using our track, but he did not approached us. Therefore we have no other option than serving  them legal notice.

Though “Tamanchey” actor Nikhil Dwivedi have something different to say, he added we have taken audio right of said song from the concerned company and we are only using audio, not video footage from “Mahan” so there is no question of violation of copyright act.
