PETA Honor Shilpa

Bollywood actress Shilpa who is away from cinema from past few years, she was recently honored with Hero to animal right organization PETA award for her social work including speaking out against cruelty among animals, signing a petition against the government to uphold ban against Jallikattu, bull race and bullfights last but not least adopting a stray kitten.

While interacting with media she said “I don’t think it was possible for me without support of people associated with me including my sister, so I want to dedicate this award to everyone associated with me. I want to thanks my sister for supporting me and motivating me.

She further disclosed according to her animal should be given ethical treatment and this is the foremost thing which is demand of day. Therefore if new generation understands kindness I believe they will become responsible human being and they will start caring animals.
