Netizens are still angry with the film even after changing the title to Laxmii from Laxmmi Bomb

The name of Laxmmi Bomb has been now changed to Laxmmi. This decision was taken after   this Akshay Kumar & Kiara Advani starrer film received backlash from netizens and on the suggestion of CBFC.

The movie helmed by Raghava Lawrence went for its censor certificate. After the screening of the film, its makers had a discussion with CBFC. The producers of the film – Shabinaa Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and Akshay Kumar decided to change the title of their film.  Keeping in mind and respecting the sentiments of its viewers, they changed it to Laxmii.

Well, the  change of the title still couldn’t convince a large part of the audience, and the makers and Akshay are still facing the criticism of netizens. Although the film has a new name and #Laxmii is trending on Twitter, a section of the netizens say that the makers haven’t corrected the ‘Love Jihad’ that the film promotes.
