Monali Thakur To Show Her Acting Skill In Lakshmi

Doing challenging role at early stage of acting is not easy task, but singer turned actress Monali Thakur has got challenging role to play in Nagesh Kuknoor upcoming movie Lakshmi. In Lakshmi she is going to play a role of child who becomes victim of prostitution.

While interacting with media Monali added playing role of prostitute in Lakshmi was bit challenging, as I don’t had any idea how prostitutes behave and what is their body language, but taking into consideration that prostitutes are also normal individuals like us therefore I considered one question in mind before starting shoot if anyhow I get stuck in such situation what would I do? Though Nagesh Sir gave full responsibility to bring out imagination and portray on screen, but I was happy that my imaginations were same as Nagesh Sir’s imagination about Lakshmi. This is the reason we were able to complete shoot of Lakshmi in three weeks time.

Monali further added Nagesh Sir is disciplined and punctual person as he never makes anyone wait for him, as he always arrive on sets in time. She further added my father is also great fan of Nagesh Sir, therefore when my father came to know that I am going to work with Nagesh Sir, he felt happy.
