Ishaan’s Pippa To Be Premiered On OTT Platform

Omg this news might make Ishaan Khatter fans unhappy as his most awaited project Pippa will not be releasing in theatres it will be premiered on OTT platform.

Well we think filmmaker Ronnie Screwvala  has become bit conscious after watching result of his latest release  Kangana starer Tejas which got flopped at the boxoffice as Pippa is also based on same theme it revolves around Indian Air Force participating in 1971 India vs Pakistan War, taking into consideration of Tejas result filmmaker might have decided to skip theater release of Pippa and decided to opt for OTT platform.

According report sources close to Pippa revealed while   interacting with popular Bollywood Entertainment  online portal adding “The stakeholders feel that it would make no sense to release Pippa on the big screen given the change in business dynamics. While the film has turned out to be a good project, the makers feel that the audiences are not stepping out to see non-event films on the big screen, And hence, the film is sold to a digital player,

According to report despite Pippa going over budget its OTT rights has been sold at low price. Pippa is made on budget of 75 crores. Its been said that filmmaker took this step to minimize the losses. Sources further said Pippa has gone over budget in its making. It cost Rs. 75 crores and the idea ever since the shoot was wrapped up was to minimize the losses. Its been observed that theatrical release might  resulted in big losses as movie has no so popular star-cast. Therefore makers of Pippa has sold movie rights to an OTT platform for minimizing losses on the project. This is the best-case scenario in terms of revenue for Pippa and that has happened because the content is good,”
However on which OTT platforms and when  it will release is still under wrap.
