I&B ministry asked for action taken against non-NBSA channels in Rakul Preet Singh’s case by Delhi HC

Last year, during the NCB probe in the drug nexus on Bollywood, the list of actors interrogated included Rakul Preet Singh’s  name too. A lot of thing were speculated about the actress that she had a connection with Rhea Chakraborty. Rakul had then approached the Delhi High Court and demanded that the news channels be ordered not to circulate or telecast any news about her in connection to Rhea until the investigation is completed and the report is submitted in the court. And the same was granted to the actor too.

Well now, the Delhi HC has asked the police that if they have taken any action against the media news channels that aren’t members of the News Broadcasting Standards Authority (NBSA) and violated the Cable TV Networks Act. Justice Prathiba M Singhalso has set the next hearing on May 20.
