Chennai Express fame Deepika Padukone becomes highest paid bollywood actress. According to reports Deepika is offered 8 crore by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his upcoming movie “Bajirao Mastani”.

According to reports its happening first time in bollywood when any actress is paid such huge amount for starring in movie. According to reports though she was in tight spot between Karan Johar’s Shuddhi and Sanjay Leela Bhansali but she accepted Sanjay’s offer.

In Bajirao Mastani Deepika will share screen with Ranveer Singh, with whom she was last seen in “Ram Leela” chemistry between both received great appreciation from critics as well as audience.

“Bajira Mastani is dream project of Sanjay Leela Bhansali as from past 15 years he was planning to work on this project but due to some un-predictable issues he was unable to work on it, as first he was considering to sign Salman and Aishwaraya but due to their enmity he dropped idea casting both, after that he decided to engage Kareena Kapoor,s cousin Shivani Kapoor opposite Salman but it does not worked too.
