Chetan Bhagat to write the screenplay of Salman Khan

Novelist Chetan Bhagat cried hoarse when he got a raw deal for Aamir Khan’s blockbuster 3 Idiots, but Salman Khanwill give him his dues in his forthcoming film Kick. Chetan has been roped in to write the screenplay of Kick, starring Salman Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

 “Kick is about a guy who lives life only for his kicks, a powerful concept and a perfect recipe for a Salman-Nadiadwala blockbuster,” Chetan tweeted.

Chetan’s biggest challenge will be to give it a Hindi spin. Since the film is touted as a big budget Salman release for 2013, Chetan will have to churn out a strong character for the star.

He has an old association with Salman and Sajid. His novel, One Night @The Call Centre was adapted into the film Hello, with Salman doing a cameo.
