Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor who recently appeared in comedy project Pagalpanti is all set with periodic drama “Takht”.

Well its happening first time when Anil is doing periodic drama. Recently actor came forward and praised Karan Johar adding he is putting his best in creating a great script, when it comes to creating script Karan leaves no stone unturned and puts his hard efforts to justify project, I am feeling happy to be part of Thakt. Its happening first time in my 30 years long career that I am doing any periodic drama, for the same i am feeling excited and lucky.

Upcoming project has strong star cast like Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kushal, Jhanvi Kapoor last but not least Bhumi Pednekar.

According to sources in upcoming project Anil Kapoor is easing a powerful role of Shahjahan.
