“Udta Punjab” music director Amit Trivedi disclosed dark and loud music of movie showcase character of his lead Shahid Kapoor, who is portraying a character of drug-addict singer-rapper in movie.

Amit further added concept of “Udta Punjab” was drawn by maker Abhishek Chaubey. Being a maker he asked me to create new music zone for portraying character of Tommy Singh, who is rapper and singer, however we tried to showcase story of flick through music, whole music is based on Tommy Singh’s expression.

He further disclosed its music that plays vital role by leading story ahead.

In this flick you will watch Tommy Singh’s character as a main highlight as how he indulge in cocaine and how he becomes edgy and trippy guy and drug addict. We tried to showcase his character through music.
