Getting great encouragement from SRK in Dear Zindagi, Alia disclosed Karan Johar is her mentor, she said Karan Johar has great influence in her life. I think what I am today is due to Karan Johar, he has taught me number of things in the field of acting.

Actress further disclosed Karan is down to earth kind of person, he deal everyone with respect and love, and am doing the same. He introduced me to Bollywood by offering me first flick, Its he due to whom I am here he is great inspiration and mentor of mine.
