Bhumi Pednekar is shy to call herself a star

Bhumi Pednekar is one of the versatile actresses in Bollywood who has always been surprising us with her roles and performances. It has been six years that she has been in the film industry and has already given some hard-hitting roles and films that have always carried some social message. Although she is loved by the masses but reveals that she’s shy to call herself a star.

In a recent interview with a media source, the actress reveals, “I think the definition of stardom has changed across different generations. But yes, I am grateful that my films are appreciated and people love me and I am going to continue doing whatever I do on and off screen.”

Talking about the characters that she has played, she said that she has always picked up meaningful roles and have tried to play  and offer some topics that are often neglected or talked less about. She says, “I feel that’s how films in the future would also be. If someone is spending two hours watching a film, or my piece of content, it must lead to some kind of a positive change in their mindset.”
