YRF Alpha Looking For Theater Release Not OTT

Well there are some reports doing around the corner that YRF has rejected A Three-Figure OTT Deal For The Action-Thriller Film Alpha.

Well if we go by latest development Yash Raj Films (YRF) is moving ahead with the production of Alpha, the newest addition to its spy universe which is being directedby Shiv Rawail lead is played by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.

Few days back there were some reports doing around the corner which suggested
that the project might skip cinemas and debut directly on a streaming platform, on the other hand Some reports also suggested that Netflix had put forward a substantial offer, said to be around Rs 215 crore, for the digital rights.

Well above reports are confirmed to be rumours, according to report
spokesperson for Yash Raj Films told Variety India that Alpha is firmly slated for a theatrical release. The studio reportedly views the film as a major tentpole title and has no plans to divert any of its big-screen releases straight to OTT platforms”.

Well before Alpha was scheduled for release  on December 25, 2025, later it was postponed due to not completion of  visual effects work.  Now Alpha is scheduled for release on was not completed on April 17, 2026.
