Yash recently announced the title and release date of his new film in a short teaser. The movie is called “Toxic – A Fairytale for Grown-Ups” and will be released on April 10, 2025. This is a three-year gap since his last film, “KGF 2,” which came out in April 2022.
Sharing the teaser on social media, Yash quoted Rumi, saying, “‘What you seek is seeking you’ – Rumi. A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. #TOXIC @KvnProductions #GeetuMohandas.”
The teaser gives us a glimpse of the movie, showing Yash in a retro look with a Fedora hat in a grey-toned atmosphere. There are burnt circus tickets and cards around him, suggesting it is a period-action thriller. Yash’s hat and antique gun set the mood for the film, which reportedly explores the global drug mafia. It was filmed in Goa, Sri Lanka, and London.
The teaser also confirms that Yash is working with director Geetu Mohandas, known for her impactful work in Bollywood and Malayalam cinema. Their collaboration promises an exciting mix of storytelling styles.
There are rumors that the film will feature three leading ladies, including Sai Pallavi, but no confirmation has been given yet.
