According to reports doing around the corner which says Filmmaker and his wife was recently arrested in Rs 30 crore IVF fraud case.

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt and his wife Shwetambari Bhatt were arrested by the police on December 7, 2025 in connection with a Rs 30-crore fraud.

According to report Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt and his wife was arrested after police registered FIR on complaint filed by Dr Ajay Murdia, founder of the IVF chain Indira IVF.

In an complaint Dr. Murdia alleged that Vikram Bhatt along with his wife and daughter including  number of associates asked him to invest over Rs 30 crore in multiple film projects, including a biopic based on his late wife’s life, against which promoters allegedly promised returns as high as Rs 200 crore. Dr Murdia further alleged in
complaint  that after initial funds were disbursed in instalments, as number promised film projects did not went on floors and got stalled mid-way, however some got released  but he did not received agreed credits or returns. Taking into consideration that he has been scammed he reported matter to police and later FIR was filed against eight accused including Vikram Bhatt, Shwetambari Bhatt, their daughter.FIR was registered at Bhupalpura police station in Udaipur.

According to report Vikram Bhatt has strongly denied and said allegations made against him by Dr Murdia are wrong and FIR is misleading. Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt said he was shocked when he came to know about FIR as he was unaware of the complaint till date. Filmmaker
claimed reason behind halting production was consider after Dr. Murdia stopped funding, Vikram Bhatt also added he has “proof, including contracts and communications,”.

Well we have to wait for sometime time till police investigation get completed.
