According to report actress was admitted to hospital after she was diagnosed with heart and lung ailment, she passed away due respiratory failure.
Actress was well-know for her blockbuster projects Rajnigandha, Pati Patni Aur Woh and Chhoti Si Baat.
Number of bollywood stars came forward and took social platform twitter to pay last respect to actress.
Bollywood actor Jaaved Jaaferi wrote Vidya Sinha as an actress was talented, beautiful and dignified, and who we all loved in the 70’s”, adding that she “passes on to her next journey”
Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta wrote “RIP Vidya Sinha Ji. You were the epitome of grace and dignity on and off the screen.
Prosenjit Bengali actor tweeted “You will be always remembered especially for Rajnigandha, Chhoti Si Baat, Mukti”.
Apart from films she also worked on TV show Itti Si Khushi in which she played a Key role which was produced by Rajan Shahi.
