UP CM Yogi Adityanath allows Akshay Kumar to start shooting for Ram Setu next year

Akshay Kumar recently announced his upcoming movie Ram Setu. He and the director of this movie Abhishek Sharma want to take shots for their film in real locations in UP. The story of the movie revolves around the journey of a man who want discover whether the bridge is a myth or reality. Therefore they want to depict things accurately. So the actor met Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath this Tuesday to discuss the shooting possibilities of the film. He also discussed the script of the film with the CM. and reportedly Akshay has gotten a green signal from the him and they will start the film shoot by mid next year. Read further to know more.

According to a report, “Set in today’s India, it’s the journey of the protagonist to discover if the Ram Setu is a myth or reality. Since Akshay Kumar and his director, Abhishek Sharma, want to present an accurate depiction, they want to shoot in real locations in the state, including Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram. They want to kick off the film by mid-2021 in UP.”

Akshay had already announced of his upcoming venture on Diwali 2020. He had shared a poster of the film on Instagram and captioned it as, “This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come.Taking this mammoth task ahead, here is our humble attempt – RAM SETU ! Wishing you & yours a very Happy Deepawali!”
