Sushmita Sen Nominated With National Award

Recently Miss Universe Sushmita Sen got nominated with National Award, she received this award for her contribution to Social Welfare women empowerment on April 17.

Recently Miss Universe pageant came forward and took social platform twitter and tweeted “Congratulations @thesushmitasen! #ChampionsofChangeAwards!”

Sushmita came forward and replied to Miss Universe’s tweet adding, “Life comes a full circle!!! Thank you @MissUniverse. I cherish the journey that began with you at 18!! #FirstIndian. With love, #MissUniverse1994 #India.”

Soon after winning National Award Sushmita took social platform and wrote “Thank you #ChampionsOfChangeAwards for this National Award for Social welfare & Women empowerment. I receive it on behalf of our Nation’s strongest backbone, WOMEN!!! Let’s continue to take small steps & big changes will follow.”
 
Sushmita made country proud in 1994 by wining Miss Universe title.
