Sushant’s forensic reports will take 2 weeks: says AIIMS sources

Forensic team from AIIMS probing the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput will take around two weeks to produce authentic reports, as told by sources. They have also said that the other reports stated in the media are false. This comes many days after the murder angle in the actor’s death has been ruled out and only the suicide angle was now being probed.

The sources confirmed that the murder angle had not been dismissed and also that the reports suggested that the murder may be ‘planted’. A team of five-members of forensic experts was set up by AIIMS to look into the autopsy report of SSR. This was done after the CBI approached the AIIMS for help.

The AIIMS forensic HoD, Dr Sudhir Gupta, who is leading the formed forensic team said “We will look into the possibility of murder. However, all probable angles will be thoroughly examined.” The team will examine the injury patterns on Sushant’s body thoroughly and will then correlate it with other evidence. Dr. Gupta also said that the crime scene was contaminated that made it “unsuitable for the examination of forensic evidence.”
