Sudden Demise Of Rituparno Ghosh Shocks Film Industry

Indian film industry lost another gem Rituparno Ghosh.  Filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh who gave new era to Bengali cinema died at the age of  49. On Thursday morning at around 7.30 a.m he passed away due to cardiac arrest, a news of sudden demise of legendry filmmaker triggered great shock in the film industry. After hearing the news of his death his contemporaries, friends and relatives gathered at his home, bollywood celebrities also expressed grief and shock on the sudden demise of legendry filmmaker.

He was born and brought up in Kolkata, he was the son of great documentary legendry filmmaker Sunil Ghosh. Rituparno Ghosh started his career in advertising after getting successful in advertising he then went behind the camera and started his directorial career in 1994 by directing film “Hirer Angti”

Rituparno Ghosh has won 12 national awards in different categories. He received special jury award at the 60^th National Film Awards ceremony for his film Chitrangada in this movie he showed his acting skill too.

He was usually known as Rituda, almost every movie of Rituda gave new wave to Bengali Cinema. Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has also had a experience working with legendry filmmaker as he worked in Rituparno Ghosh directorial movie Raincoat.  Ajay Devgn said I have such a wonderful memories with him.
