As the 2nd wave of COVID 19 has struck in, government has put up new restrictions like limiting the occupancy rate and curfews. Because of this the release date of many of the films is postponed. And now we hear that Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Sooryavanshi might also face delay yet again.
The Akshay Kumar starrer was set to be be released in cinemas on April 30, 2021. However, according to latest updates, the makers of the film may delay the theatrical release because of the possibility of night curfews as well as lockdown in many places. A source revealed, “With the suspension of night shows due to night curfews in cities like Mumbai and an atmosphere of uncertainty, it’s a huge risk for a big-budget film to release in theatres at this point. Given people’s safety concerns, the film is unlikely to release on April 30.”
