Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood recently visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab, to seek blessings ahead of his directorial debut, ‘Fateh’. The film, an action-packed thriller focusing on cybercrime, is scheduled for release on January 10, 2025.
During his visit, Sood shared a video on social media, captioned “Waheguru ji da Khalsa, Waheguru ji di Fateh,” showcasing moments of prayer and interactions with fans at the sacred shrine.
‘Fateh’ draws inspiration from real-life cybercrime incidents that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sood, who directs and stars in the film, describes it as a journey of passion and purpose, aiming to highlight the hidden battles in the digital world. The film also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, and Naseeruddin Shah, with contributions from Hollywood professionals to enhance its global appeal.
Prior to this, Sood visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, expressing his hope that divine blessings will lead to the film’s success.
‘Fateh’ is produced by Shakti Sagar Productions and Zee Studios and is set to address the pressing issue of cybercrime and its societal impact. The film is slated for a theatrical release on January 10, 2025.
