Sonu Sood may have acted as a villain in several of his films, but he has proven to be a real-life superhero by working tirelessly for the welfare of the migrant laborers for 3 months now. He has recently launched an online job portal ‘Pravasi Rojgar’ for them. This online portal will also provide specific job training like spoken English. Along with celebrating his 47th birthday on Thursday, the actor also announced three lakh jobs for the migrant laborers. He took this initiative to help the millions of Indians who were left jobless in the event of ongoing pandemic.
He announced this news on Instagram by sharing a post of the online portal with a caption that read “On my birthday a small initiative from my side. 3 lakh jobs tied up for Pravasirojgar.com. All these will provide good wages, PF, ESI and other benefits. Thank you AEPC, CITI, Trident, Quesscorp, Amazon, Sodexo, Urban Co, Portea and all others for creating these opportunities with me. #AbIndiaBanegaKamyaab @pravasirojgar”.
According to the website, Pravasi Rojgar around 450 employers have been onboarded with companies like Amazon, Sodexo, Max Healthcare and Portea. And around 1 lakh job requirements have been calculated since its inception.
