Shooting of Love Hostel starring Bobby Deol stopped by protesting farmers in Punjab

The effects of ongoing farmers’ protest in the country is quite visible in every sector. Bollywood too faced the consequences and several of films had to stop shooting. Earlier it was Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey and now it is Bobby Deol’s Love Hostel the shooting of which has been halted  by farmers.

According to reports, the crew of Love Hostel was preparing for the shoot and setting up equipment for the film shooting in Patiala, when they were peacefully asked to leave the location. Reportedly some farmers also expressed to Bobby that neither his brother BJP MP Sunny Deol, nor his father Dharmendra have spoken in the favor of protest.

Farmers in Punjab have stated that they will not allow any Bollywood film to be shot in Punjab amid the ongoing protest.
