Shahid Kapoor’s most awaited O’ROMEO seems to be stucking in legal trouble just before release.
According to latest development Hussain Ustara’s daughter moves to court asking ban on movie release.
According to report court has adjourned hearing to 6th February.
According to report Sanober Shaikh, daughter of the late Hussain Ustara has filled a civil suit in a Mumbai court seeking to stop the movie from reaching audiences.
Suit was filed on 2nd February, in suit applicant has alleged that the film is an unauthorised biographical portrayal of her father.
Defendants in suit are O’Romeo producer Sajid Nadiadwala, director Vishal Bhardwaj and journalist-author Hussain Zaidi.
In Suit Plantiff has asked for permanent injunction to stop movie from releasing in theaters on February 13, 2026.
In suit Plantiff argues that no prior consent was obtained from the plaintiff before the film was developed. It asserts that the movie was produced “with the intent of commercial and monetary gain” and is closely based on the biography of Hussain Shaikh, popularly known as Hussain Ustara.
Well going through above news it seems O’Romeo might stuck in big trouble for the same we have to wait for court verdict till 6th February.
