Shah Rukh Khan’s Absence from Don 3: A Scheduling Clash

The much-anticipated third installment of the iconic Don franchise, Don 3, has been making headlines for quite some time. However, one major revelation has left fans disappointed: Shah Rukh Khan, the original Don, will not be reprising his iconic role.

The reason behind Shah Rukh Khan’s absence is primarily due to scheduling conflicts. The actor is currently busy with multiple projects and commitments, making it difficult for him to allocate time to the Don 3 project. Given the demanding nature of the role and the extensive shooting schedule required, it seems that the timing simply didn’t align for Khan.

While fans may be disheartened by this news, the makers of Don 3 have shared that besides the clashing of dates, they found Ranveer Singh to be the perfect fit for the role of Don according to the script of Don 3.

Farhan shared, “When I first started thinking about Don 3, I obviously thought of writing something with Shah Rukh in it. However, we couldn’t find the right place to take the story, and we couldn’t find common ground. So, I decided to rethink the film and delve deeper into what made Don, Don. That’s when Ranveer Singh felt like the perfect fit for the role.”
