Shah Rukh Khan set to film Pathaan 2 by late 2024

The official announcement is out: “Pathaan 2” is happening! Shah Rukh Khan is reprising his role as Pathaan in the sequel, with production expected to kick off later this year. Aditya Chopra is personally involved in scripting the film, intending to expand the espionage universe under the YRF banner.

According to insider reports, both Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra have greenlit the script for “Pathaan 2.” It’s speculated that the events of this sequel will take place before the timeline of “Tiger vs Pathaan,” setting the stage for the anticipated showdown between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in that film.

“Pathaan 2” is positioned as a pivotal spy film within the YRF universe, paving the way for larger conflicts in the future. SRK and Aditya plan to commence filming towards the end of the year.

On another front, there are rumors that Salman and SRK might start shooting “Tiger vs Pathaan” this summer, although YRF has yet to confirm this.
