Shah Rukh Khan Receives Lifetime Achievement Award at Locarno Film Festival

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, also known as “King Khan” to his fans, will be honored with the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera award at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. This lifetime achievement award recognizes Khan’s remarkable career spanning over 100 films across various genres.

The Locarno Film Festival, held in Switzerland, is a renowned international event dedicated to independent and auteur cinema.  Khan’s selection as an honoree highlights his global influence and the impact of Indian cinema on a wider audience.

The award ceremony will take place on August 10th, 2024, at the Piazza Grande, the Festival’s main square.  A public conversation with Khan is also scheduled for the following day, offering fans a chance to interact with the legendary actor.
