Shah Rukh Khan dons new role but not in Farhan’s Don 3

Shah Rukh Khan might be back as a don in a new movie called “King,” directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Instead of playing the lead in “Don 3,” he’ll take on this role in “King,” which also marks his daughter Suhana Khan’s debut. According to a report, Shah Rukh is keen on doing roles that have shades of grey, something his fans enjoy. The movie is his passion project, and he’s been deeply involved in every aspect, along with directors Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh.

They’ve crafted a character with a lot of attitude and style, but also with some morally ambiguous traits. The action scenes are being worked on by Siddharth Anand with international stunt teams, while Sujoy Ghosh is focusing on the dialogues. Shah Rukh is overseeing everything and even training with Suhana for some modern action sequences. 

Shah Rukh has previously played similar grey characters in movies like “Darr,” “Baazigar,” “Anjaam,” and “Raees.” Although he’s famous for playing Don in the past, he won’t be reprising that role in Don 3. Instead, Ranveer Singh will take on the lead role, starring opposite Kiara Advani.
