Bollywood legendary actress Shabana Azmi praised Kartik Aaryan for his out standing performance in Chandu Champion adding ‘I am crying and going crash’

Kartik Aryan has proved when it comes to performance he gives his hundred percent. Actor is enjoying great success of his recent release Chandu Champion. Shabana Azmi after watching Chandu Champion  gets emotional; heaps praise Kartik Aaryan.
Chandu Champion is a biopic based on life story of Paralympic gold medalist Muralikant Petkar.

Actor is receiving great applause from number of Bollywood celebs for actors out to out performance and boby transformation.

Recently while interacting with papprazi Shabana Azmi said “I went crazy and Kartik did a great job. Kabir did it very well. I watched Kabir’s film after many days and he held on to the second half as well. (I couldn’t stop crying while watching the film and Kartik did a fantastic job. Kabir Khan (director) did a great job. It’s been long that I have watched any of Kabir’s movie. The story kept us engaged even in the second half.)”
Shabana Azmi hubby Javed Akhtar also open about Chandu Champion and said “The filmmakers have brought this great story to light after nearly 50 years. Even Murlikant Petkar got teary-eyed upon watching a film about himself.”

While celebrating EID with fans online Shabana shared on social media ““I was deeply moved by #Kabir Khans film #ChanduChampion and I loved #Kartik Aryans portrayal. He played it with an almost child-like determination, with an extremely winsome smile, which prevented him from projecting it as arrogance. #Vijay Rasz as the coach is v effective. It’s a real life story and I say Salaam Kabir for making it in his lifetime, so he got to watch it with his family. Here I am with Kartik at a special screening organised by #Excel Entertainment (sic).”
On Shabana Azmi’s post Kartik replied, “Mujhe meri eidi mil gayi (I have received my eidi). Every word you said feels like a medal for me (sic).”
