It’s World Radio Day, and to celebrate, the makers of the upcoming film “Ae Watan Mere Watan” have revealed its release date! Inspired by real events, this period drama tells the gripping story of a secret radio station run by a brave young woman during India’s fight for independence.

Starring Sara Ali Khan in the lead, the film is directed by Kannan Iyer and written by Darab Farooqui and Iyer. Other actors include Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Sparsh Shrivastav, Alexx O’ Neil, and Anand Tiwari. Emraan Hashmi even makes a special appearance!

“Ae Watan Mere Watan” isn’t just about one hero, though. It’s a fictional tale that honors both known and unknown freedom fighters, especially the young people who showed incredible bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism during the movement.
