Sara Ali Khan shines in “Ae Watan Mere Watan” trailer, hinting at a career-defining role

Sara Ali Khan, often criticized for her movie choices and acting skills, may change perceptions with her upcoming film “Ae Watan Mere Watan.” This period drama, produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and directed by Kannan Iyer, tells the story of Usha Mehta, who started India’s first radio station during the Freedom movement.

The trailer, featuring Sara as Usha Mehta, offers a captivating glimpse into her powerful portrayal. The dialogues and music in the trailer promise a compelling narrative without going overboard. Sara’s sincerity and portrayal of the character seem promising.

While nationalistic films often risk being too dramatic, “Ae Watan Mere Watan” appears to strike a balance, offering a detailed account of a story worth hearing. Emraan Hashmi’s brief appearance as Ram Manohar Lohia adds to the anticipation.

Sara’s performance hints at potential accolades, and the film’s release on Amazon Prime Video on March 21 is eagerly awaited.
