Salman Khan In Legal Trouble For Promoting Pan Masala

According to report senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Rajasthan High Court advocate Inder Mohan Singh Honey, sought a ban on the advertisements, and said that they misled the consumers.

According to report BJP leader and Advocate Inder Mohan Singh approached consumer court Kota and filed complaint allegin that Rajshree Pan Masala and its brand ambassador, actor Salman Khan, is misleading through  advertisement which is meant for  promoting the product adding it  containing “saffron-infused cardamom” and “saffron-infused pan masala.” The petitioner in his complaint claims that facts disclosed in advertisements are fals as saffron, which costs about ₹4 lakh per kilogram, cannot be an ingredient in a product priced at ₹5. Further complaint states fals  claims like these encourage youngsters to consume pan masala, which is a leading cause of mouth cancer. How come a actor who is role model for many people doing this kind of advertisement.

According to report after hearing complaint Kota Consumer Court has issued notices to both company and actor for a hearing which is fixed for 27th November.
