Sajid Said Its Not Kirpan It’s Arabic Sword

Sajid Nadiadwala speaks about controversy that rose due to Jacqueline wearing Kirpan in upcoming flick Dishoom.

Controversy started when Jacqueline was found wearing short dress with a Kirpan around her waist in the promo of Dishoom. Considering this promo as hearting religious sentiments of Sikh tenets and customs, police complaint was lodged against “Dishoom” crew.

During an promotional event in Mumbai Sajid Nadiadwala and actor Varun Dhawan was asked about the controversy, Sajid  said its wrong controversy as misunderstanding has raised, It’s not Kirpan, as we have shoot entire song in Marocco, how can it be Kirpan as it is an Arabian Sword.

Copy of complaint has been sent to censor board by Sikh society, it will only be decided by censor board whether it’s a kirpan or sword, and then only song will be removed from the flick added by maker of flick.
