In Rustom Akshay Kumar ease a character of naval officer who get married with Cynthia (Illeana D’Cruz) against his father’s wishes. When he was away on a trip, Cynthia and Vikram (Arjan Bajwa) come close and have an affair. However when Rustom returns and found his wife having extra material affair with Vikram. He fight with Vikram, who  get  killed in an ensuing scuffle. Rustom get arrested for Virkram’s murder.
