Remake of Soorarai Pottru starring Akshay Kumar is titled Sarfira with release of its first look 

Akshay Kumar stars in the Hindi version of a popular Tamil movie called “Soorarai Pottru,” which is set to come out in theaters on July 12. This film draws inspiration from the life of GR Gopinath, the founder of the Indian low-cost airline Simplifly Deccan. The announcement of the movie’s release was made by the producers, along with a sneak peek of Akshay’s character in the film.

The Tamil film “Soorarai Pottru” was originally announced during the COVID-19 pandemic. It faced delays but is now scheduled to hit theaters in July. In a teaser video, Akshay’s appearance in the film was revealed, showing him standing on a runway with one of his airline’s planes in the background.

This scene seems to be from a crucial moment in the film when the main character tries to fly a plane for the first time. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the movie has garnered a lot of excitement. Additionally, the lead actor from the Tamil version, Suriya, will make a cameo appearance.

The Hindi adaptation is being produced by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment and Suriya, Jyothika Sadanah, and Rajsekar Pandian’s 2D Entertainment.
