Randeep Hooda was not the first choice for Emraan Hashmi’s Jannat 2

Jannat was the movie which made Emraan Hashmi a box office magnet. This movie was made a franchise with its sequel titled Jannat 2, which was a hit again making it one of the best of franchises in Bollywood. The film also featured Randeep Hooda in an important role.

Randeep was seen playing the character of ACP Pratap Raghuvanshi in the film. In this one, he collaborated with Emraan for the second time after Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. The chemistry of the two actors was loved by the audience in this movie too. But,he wasn’t the first choice for the role?

It was Sanjay Dutt, who initially signed to play ACP Raghuvanshi, but opted out due to some unknown reasons. Then the role went to Vivek Oberoi who also rejected the role. At last, it was Randeep Hooda who came on board and played a dominant officer in the film.
