Ranbir Kapoor to be an orphan in ‘Besharam’

Ranbir Kapoor is back with another incredible film, ‘Beshram’. He will be playing an orphan in the movie. The film also stars Ranbir’s parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor.

A source says, “In Abhinav Kashyap’s film, the three actors will share screen space. His real-life parents play cops who nab Ranbir who grows up to become a thief.”

It is learnt that the family is thrilled to be shooting together. “Ranbir, Rishi and Neetu will get to spend some quality time on the sets away from home. Unlike Neetu, Ranbir and Rishi hardly spend time at home as they are always busy with their work commitments. Neetu and Ranbir are especially close and it couldn’t get any better.”

The film carried the tagline, “No lust for respect, no fear of disrespect”.

Ranbir Kapoor also forwarded his small step towards film producing. He will be co-producing Anurag Kashyap-headed Phantom Productions’ most ambitious project, ‘Bombay Velvet’.

When contacted Ranbir said:”Innovative content excites me and I believe the Phantom team is a pioneer at it.

The film has an epic canvas, with a budget of approximately 95 crores. Ranbir was not a part of the proposal at that time, since the casting was far from final.”
