Bollywood versatile and controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma asked all stars to come forward and stand with Allu Arjun to protest against his arrest adding 3 people died in crowd which came to see Bollywood late actress Sridevi, will police go to haven to arrest her?.
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma got upset with Allu Arjun’s arrest and condemned strong criticism regarding the recent arrest of Allu Arjun in connection with the death of a female fan during a stampede at the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad.
Talking about incident that took place years ago in which 3 person lost life in crowd stampede on the set of the late actress Sridevi’s film ‘Kshana Kshanam’.
For above statement Ram Gopal Varma took to his X account Twitter) and shared, “Every STAR should STRONGLY protest against @alluarjun’s ARREST because for any celebrity, whether it’s a FILM STAR or a POLITICAL STAR, is it a crime for them to be ENORMOUSLY POPULAR???”
Later filmmaker compared same incident that took years ago he shared “Three people died in the lakhs of crowd who came to see SRIDEVI during the shooting of my film KSHANA KSHANAM. So, will the #TelanganaPolice now go to #HEAVEN to ARREST #Sridevi???” he asked rhetorically, criticising the rationale behind such legal actions.
Recently actor was released on bail for four weeks.
