Rajkummar Rao Received Best Actor Award

Omg “Newton” managed to bag two awards at Asia Pacific Screen Awards held in Brisbane, two awards in two categories  best actor award which was given to Rajkummar Rao, and second award went to write and director under category of best screenplay award.

While accepting award Rajkummar Rao got emotional and said this award is dedicated to my mother and further said “Let’s keep doing this beautiful work, let’s keep making these wonderful stories. Here’s to cinema!”

After award ceremony actor took social platform twitter and tweeted  “Won the best actor award at the most prestigious #APSA2017 (Asia Pacific Screen Awards). Thank you Maa. Thank u team #Newton. Don’t stop chasing your dreams because they really do come true.” movie showcase story of idealistic election officer, as how he manage to hold elections in village of Chhattisgarh in spite of  threat given by Naxaliest.
