Its happening first time in history when any south movie has managed to reach 100 crore club in just 3 days of release. Linga was released in about 2200 screens across India and or 1000 screens across overseas. The best thing about this movie was that this movie was released on Rajinikant’s birthday on 12th December.
In this movie Rajinikant is playing dual role opposite Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty. It’s happening first time when Sonakshi is sharing screen with Rajinikant and that too in South movie.
While interacting with media director KS Ravikumar said he is feeling happy that his directorial movie Lingaa has managed to reach 100 crore club in just 3 days which is big achievement for him as a director.
